Program Playtimes The Navy chose Salem’s Willamette Heritage Center to host Navy Week, celebrating Oregon and Salem’s 140 year-plus history with the Navy as sailors from Puget Sound to Groton, Massachusetts arrived to impart naval history, work on community projects and rock the house with the Navy Band. Highlight is the presentation: Sailors and Shores: Oregon’s Naval Heritage.
