The Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance is preparing for its Point-in-Time (PIT) count, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. PIT counts how many people are living on the streets, in their cars, or in shelters in Salem. In this first Salem Buzz of the new year, we speak with Marion and Polk County's Point-in-Time (PIT) Count Coordinator, Marianne Bradshaw, to learn more about the process and how to help.
