About Us
Capital Community Media is a multimedia center in the greater Salem area that provides local content, education, and a platform for people who want to hear and be heard by their community.
Helping Hands Resources doors open at 9am Monday through Thursday and on Saturday to receive shoppers... then closes at noon, when volunteers arrive from the nearby warehouse to replenish shelves and hangers with more donated items. Everything is free to any individual in need. Helping Hands is an all-volunteer organization operating solely on community donations and grants which began when a local teacher saw something about her students almost 60 years ago.
