Willamette Institute of Continued Learning - Evolution of Humanity: How thumbs, bipedalism, larynx, language, big brains drove the evolution and development of our species 11-25-25

Program Description

Presenter Ken Ash: This talk will cover human evolution, both physical and mental, for better or worse. It will discuss how we ended up with these particular bodies and more problematically how that much touted big brain does its thing. The talk is a combination considerable reading and musings from the lonely hours between 2 and 4 am when everyone else is sleeping and your presenter should be.
