"This year the League of Women Voters conducted its first one year study and consensus opinion on the Supreme Court and the Article III District and Appellate courts to address judicial legitimacy, ethics, enforcement, recusal, representativeness, and judge or court shopping. Traditional studies have been multi year, in this case urgency was emphasized. Learn about the federal court structure, their standards of practice, the way they are regulated and administered. And learn what the consensus is on those topics by millions of bipartisan women representing over 700 chapters nationwide.
Amy has been a member of the League of Women Voters for 50 years. Over that time, she has participated in numerous League Studies. The League is a non-partisan organization that studies public issues. The most recent was the LWVUS Federal Judiciary Study. She graduated rom Miami University, Oxford Ohio with a BA in History and minor in Education. She was the Executive Director of the Marion County Historical Society and then the Development Director for the Willamette Heritage Center. She served in the United States Peace Corp in Lesotho from 1999 – 2001.
