Willamette Institute for Continued Learning - OSU Garden Future Project: Public/Private Collaboration to meet Climate Challenges
Program Description
"Many of us see firsthand the impact of extreme weather events and climate change in our landscapes and gardens. Gardeners are wondering how to care for stressed plants and what to expect next. To help Oregon’s gardeners, the OSU Master Gardener Program has launched a new statewide climate resilience education and outreach project called Garden Future. Communication research shows that it’s through one-on-one conversations between neighbors and community members that real dialogue and understanding can occur about our shifting climate. Discover the gardening resources available to support you and your community in creating resilient gardens.
