Program Description
"Modern" Earth systems have been functioning for about 500 million years, and there have been dramatic climate swings during this period. We will examine the factors that regulate Earth's climate, take a look at some examples of extreme hot and extreme cold times, and finally reflect upon what the past can teach us about the present.
