Then we revisit our very first episode, newly remastered, where Katherine Watkins and Eric McGuire introduced the question that still sits at the heart of Oregon Voices: what happens when Oregon’s progressive reputation is held up against the realities people are actually living? From education and labor to race, rural Oregon, community, politics, identity, power, and the stories that rarely make it into the official version of this state, Oregon Voices was created to look closer, listen harder, and make room for the voices too often left out of the conversation. Season 2 goes deeper, with more voices, more history, more accountability, more joy, and more of Oregon telling its own story.
